It was the last day when I had to decide what I would gift to the would-be bride ‘Sara’ at her hen party. I hopped to so many gift shops. Even, I did window shopping on online retail stores. Bridal shower kit, beauty products, wedding coffee cup, silver plated spoons, clutches and pearl sets hooked me up. But their price tags were not matching to my pocket. So, I decided to skip these. DIY route echoed perfectly in my heart. So, I decided to go on this way. However, it was time consuming but my excitement killed this thought.
Food I Can’t Forget
The party was the very next day. Sara booked Craigrownie Castle since we all friends insisted her to hire castle for hen party in Scotland. I made my entry in time to the party venue with an elegantly wrapped gift in my hand. It’s gaudy, glittery yet very beautiful packaging attracted every buddy’s eyes. But before, we all had to hit the floor for dancing. What a reception hall, it had, WOW, How can I forget! It was full of flexibilities. We dined there in separate section and the food, that we had, was all of our choice. The mouth-watering taste of its pasta, cup-cakes, cookies, starters, Mushroom Ravioli, Mediterranean Vegetables, Chocolate fondant and mint pestu can never run away from my mind. And how beautifully the dining tables were arranged! There was no mess left no chance of flaws to occur.
Danced For Hours
After having wholesome dinner, we moved to the dance floor. Since we all were very excited to tap feet together, we demanded to play loud notes. The DJ was very cooperative. He played the songs what we desired. Thereafter, those were us who had to rock the floor then and we did it on this bachelorettes’ night out. Swinging, pirouetting and jumping with the cracks of laughter made us tired in one hour. Now, the music was turned soothing and slow and we were in love with that also.
Unwrapped the gift of love
Meanwhile, Sara wanted to open all the gift boxes. “So, whose gift to be unwrapped first?, Sara asked. A unanimous sound called for mine gift. As it’s beautiful wrapped was uncovered, the eyes of all widened catching the clue of my fantastic DIY hen party idea. Beautiful! Amazing! Awesome and many more such exclamatory phrases touched my heart. Sara gave me a hug. I welcomed her with open hands. Let I unfold the mystery what my gift box consisted. It was ‘Bridal Survival kit’ which had: Hair Spray, hair brush, bobby pins, hair ties, wisps, mouthwash, deodorant, blush, powder, eye makeup kit, manicure and pedicure kit, nail enhancer kit, Q-tips, lipsticks, chapsticks, tweezer, mirror, cotton swabs, facial kit, eye contact solution. Contact lens case, tissues, tide-to-go, lint roller, sewing kit, scissors, super glue, duct tape, safety pins, hand sanitizer, first-aid kit and wax sheets.
These all things look petty but when any of these we miss, we go loud and angry. So, I gifted her all these.
